Hi Patti, my answer here as to whether soy is good or not would be so long that I'd rather direct you to a great article that a friend of mine wrote on the subject which will cover the topic from top to bottom. Check it out here: Is soy safe

@Sandie, agreed that milk is a natural source of calcium and the benefits of calcium are well documented. Definitely made a point to outline that in our last article on milk. However, the modern day processes that milk undergoes also strip it of bacteria that is critical to healthy digestion. Calcium can come from many other food sources that aren't so problematic - oranges, leafy greens, nuts, etc.
Also, there are various qualities of Whey and yes, Whey is a derivative of milk...but that's another conversation altogether.
Thanks for your response!

You should call this article a perspective on Milk. Again, I must frown on your lack of resources and confusing the public or at least your followers on the benefits of natural sources of calcium and that Milk is a natural source of the very "Whey" protein you advise your readers to get from powder. Research from actual journals (JCN) are stating that the consumption of milk actually helps individuals maintain a healthy weight and those that drink it are closer to their ideal than those who don't. I agree there are many who have difficulties with digestion and should seek a nutrition expert (Registered Dietitian) for guidance. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
