I’ve always been a firm believer that you can heal and prevent injury through stretching, exercise and functional training. It’s one of the reason why fitness is my biggest passion.
One of the biggest causes for back pain and sciatica, that most people aren’t really aware of, are muscle imbalances. This is a condition where the muscles in one area of your body are stronger than the opposing muscle, therefore, pulling your body out of its natural alignment and putting uneven pressure on your discs, and joints.
Being a personal trainer and a professional athlete, I always thought I was very healthy until one day my back just gave out in a way I had never experienced before and brought me to my knees.
