What We Offer...
We teach
Taiseikan Martial Arts to adults and children of all
ages.
What
is Taiseikan?
Taiseikan is a complete Martial Arts system that encompasses
Shorin Ryu Karate, Shinto Yoshin
Jiujisitsu
and Okinawan Kobudo, as well as techniques acquired from
Miyama Ryu Jiujitsu, USA Goju Ryu, and Watai. The aim of
Taiseikan is to provide students to improve their overall state
of mind, body and spirit, Shin Gei Tai.

About Our Instructors...
Our
instructors come from all walks of life, have
extensive teaching experience and are some of the
best in the Miami area. All are
certified black belts that care more about improving
their students skills than their own ego!

Sensei
Moises Colon has trained in the Martial Arts since
1967. He has acquired Dan ranks in six separate
systems and currently holds teaching certificates
from four of these systems.
Sensei Colon has devoted most of his life to
the pursuit of Budo. Sensei Colon is an avid
competitor and has won numerous titles in
tournaments in all divisions.
He
has been a Florida State Champion in Weapons,
Kata and Kumite, as well as a two time Florida
Police Olympic Gold Medalist in Kata and
Kumite.
Sensei Moises Colon brings over 30 years of
experience to this unique system of self
defense, order, self discipline, peace, self
security, are some of the values pursued by
Taiseikan Karate. |
