The deep tissue techniques he
use were both relaxing and
effective. I could
feel as if my back was melting. My right shoulder and

massage was that when he was
massaging my right foot and I

What to expect at your
first visit:
|
Your session
will take place in a warm, quiet, comfortable
room. Prior to your session you will be asked a
few general health questions to insure your
safety as will as discuss your desired outcome
for the session. Your answers may suggest the
areas of your body, for which to focus the
massage.
You will be
properly and respectfully draped at all times
for your warmth and security. A light oil will
be used during the massage to allow your muscles
to be worked without causing excessive friction
to the skin.
As the massage progresses the work may become
deeper and more specific to your needs, we
always encourage an open dialog between Client
and Therapist to insure the best possible care.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue
Massage is very effective alleviating soft tissue
problems because it creates a prolonged state of reduced
muscular tension by applying deep muscle compression and
cross fiber friction to increase blood and lymphatic
flow. Although Deep Tissue Massage is an intense massage
with powerful results, it is done in such a way as to
encourage the body not to react defensively. The depth
and pressure of the work is kept within the comfort
range of the client.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a classical European
massage technique of the muscles with
special oils by therapeutic stroking and
kneading of muscle tissue to promote
stress relief. It is used to improve
circulation, relieve muscle pain and
tension, increase flexibility and induce
relaxation. It combines three basic
strokes to the skin: long, gliding
strokes; kneading strokes; and cross
fiber strokes. This is the most
requested and one of the most enjoyable
massages we offer |
